In 1881, a young man named Zachariah Taliaferro White arrived in El Paso with $15,000 sewn into his vest. He cleared the cottonwoods and shrub of the Upper Valley, founded River Bend Farm and even rechanneled the Rio Grande to add hundreds of acres of farmland.
The Fields stands on the final piece of that raw Zach White land. It represents building a beautiful neighborhood full of fine homes in which families can build their legacies.
